Stylish City Center Georgian Home - Sleeps 10+: Kilkenny

Located on Patrick street across from Butler house with it's beautiful gardens, we are the perfect location whether you are holidaying in Kilkenny or coming for a wedding or other occasion.

With a mix of traditional, modern and mid century features and furniture our home will make for a very comfortable stay.

Built in the 1820's our completely renovated and extended three storey house is only a couple of minutes walk from the center of Kilkenny.

On our ground floor we have a great open plan space with a kitchen dining and living areas in the extension, along with this living area we have a cozy sitting room in the old part of the house to relax in, in the evenings.

In both these areas we have smart TV's with Netflix and streaming service along with terrestrial services. We have an Amazon Echo with Spotify to keep your music needs satisfied in the kitchen area. There are lots of toys and puzzles should you need them to keep the kids entertained on wet days.

Up stairs in the old part of the house we have two double bedrooms along with a bathroom on each of the first and second floors. In the modern section we have the master suite with walk in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom.

Outside we have a small patio and lawned area to enjoy the sunshine in the sunny south east.

Kilkenny city, awarded 'Tidy town of Ireland', offers a treasure trove of historical buildings and landmarks, a flower filled, cobbled and winding walkways, fine dining, theatre, traditional Irish pubs, many with live music nightly, tours by bicycle, foot and bus.

There are numerous world-renowned festivals throughout the year, such as Cats Laugh Comedy, Kilkenny Arts, TradFest, Roots, Savour Food and the European Film Festival.

There is something for everyone right on your doorstep! Shops and restaurants, the nearest pub the Blue Bar is just a few doors down and has one of the best pints of Guinness in town.

As for getting around Kilkenny you won't need any transport as our home is in the city center.

Getting to and from Kilkenny is easy as there are several bus services serving Kilkenny with bus stop literally just a minutes walk around the corner.

There is also Kilkenny train station MacDonagh Junction just a short taxi ride away with several services daily to Dublin and Waterford.

We are sorry to say that we do not accept stag, hen or other similar partying groups.
