A gated entrance opens to a tree-lined driveway and, with the old castle to the right and the River Shannon to the left, it meanders through the land to the neo-georgian style house. A concrete staircase at the front of the building climbs to the entrance onto a large hallway with a marble open fireplace and wooden flooring.
A corridor leads to a modern kitchen, complete with an island, granite worktops and new appliances including new range induction cooker, american size refrigerator, dishwasher, espresso machine, kettle and microwave.
The living room, to the right of the kitchen, has one of the original fireplaces and windows that let in plenty of light throughout the day with gorgeous views of the river. To the rear is the beautiful dining room with windows at two sides overlooking the woodlands. On the ground floor there are four double bedrooms along with the family bathroom. The master bedroom, has an ensuite and a walk-in wardrobe. Of the three remaining bedrooms, one has an ensuite.
