Luxury 2,000 sq.ft house, located in the exclusive enclave of the coastal village of Malahide, awaits the discerning guest.

Aptly named Sonas, which takes its meaning from the Gaelic word “Light”, the large detached house is the perfect getaway for a large family or group.

Sonas has been carefully furnished and equipped to offer the ultimate in entertainment and relaxation. A Bang & Olufsen sound system sets the tone in the stunning lounge and dining room, which has exceptional aspects to the garden.

A separate TV Den, complements the living quarters and comes with its own Satellite TV & DVD player. Meanwhile, attention to detail continues in the kitchen which hosts 2 ovens and a generous American style fridge/freezer.

In terms of sleeping accommodation, Sonas comprises 3 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom with the option of an additional single bed.

The spacious well-designed interior of the house is also reflected outside with a beautifully laid out garden and plenty of parking.

Sonas is set just off Carrickbrack Road, just a stones throw away from Velvet Strand beach and the centre of Malahide village. The town is well served by bus and train routes to Dublin city and the airport.

Really great house in an ideal location. Close to portmarnock village but with some privacy. The house is really nicely designed and comfortable to be in.

Gorgeous place to stay. Paul was a great host and very helpful when we had to contact him with a query. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing house, comfortable and well equipped. Ideal for our needs-family wedding, Very spacious for all bridal party requirements, 3 bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need (although we just had breakfast there). Enjoyed walk on the nearby beach. Host Paul was available with advice when required. Would highly recommend this "home from home"

"Excellent property for a family visit to Ireland"
The property was very comfortable and clean. It is in a great location. We rented a car at the airport and it is about a 15 minute ride to the house. During our week, about 4 times we drove down the road about 5 minutes and parked at the train station and took the train into Dublin (about 20 minute ride). The other 3 days, we took day trips and drove to Wicklow Mountains park, across Ireland to the Cliffs of Moher, and up to Belfast, Northern Ireland. The house was in a nice location for all of that. There were only 5 of us (all adults), but the house would easily accomodate 5 more and still be spacious. I highly recommend this property!
