Area
Annan is a town resting on the banks of the River Annan in Dumfries and Galloway, not far from Gretna and the Solway Coast. The town offers a host of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants, and is actually steeped in history as it was once the site of Roman camps. The area surrounding Annan is bursting with unspoilt coastlines, scenic countryside and one of Scotland's finest ruined castels, Caerlaverock Castle.
