It occupies a spacious lot that’s kept private and secure by walls and a gate. Inside, you’ll find a sunny terrace with lounging and sitting areas around the air-jet heated pool and hot tub, a covered outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and bar, and two shaded al-fresco dining areas. If you’ll be hitting the fairways during your stay, practice on the villa’s own 18-hole putting green.

Open-plan interiors with plenty of sliding glass doors and skylights make the most of the property’s oceanfront setting and the region’s trademark sunny weather. In the sitting area, sofas and chairs in shades of pale cream and gray are enlivened by accents in playful shades of plum and turquoise, and in the dining area, which seats eight, a plush rug adds comfort to the elegant look. The fully equipped kitchen boasts a generous layout, with a breakfast bar separate from the prep island.

The villa has six bedrooms with queen beds, four of which have en-suite bathrooms, and one bedroom with two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. Several of the bedrooms open to terraces or balconies, letting you enjoy the views of the sea, mountains and even the African coast in the distance, and the master bedroom has a jetted tub worthy of a honeymoon suite.

Long a favorite with the jet set and even royalty, the Marbella area is famous for its golden beaches and atmosphere of toned-down, relaxed glamour, and The Beach House puts you close to its main attractions. It’s a short drive from the villa to Puerto Banús, where you can browse high-end boutiques along the Golden Mile, spot celebrities at resorts and restaurants and watch the yachts and supercars go by. Book a tee time at one of several nearby golf courses, or brush up on your serve at the local Tennis Brothers Marbella Club. For a day trip, make the 56 km drive to Málaga to stroll its historic center and visit its world-class museums.
