The house was built with pale local stone, and inside, the uncluttered spaces and neutral colour palette reflect that pared-back style. Crisp white walls, glossy finishes and rooms bathed in light create a relaxing haven that's the perfect respite from the sun.

Just fifteen minutes away by car is Noto, a baroque town known for its UNESCO World Hertigate-status cathedral. Spend the afternoon wandering down the cafe-lined streets, seeking out local eateries and independent shops. You're also a fifteen-minute drive from Spiaggia della Loggia in Avola when you crave a beach day, while Syracuse is reachable in under an hour – perfect for a day trip.
