Whatever time of year you visit, you won't have trouble getting comfortable here. In the winter months, curl up in front of the fire and stream your favourite film on the TV. Come summer, the peaceful courtyard garden awaits. Sip Pimms and tuck into nibbles as the sun goes down, before retiring to the plush four-poster bed for a well-deserved rest.

The beach is a ten-minute walk away, and the town centre even closer. Find a traditional pub to sit down to a Sunday roast and spend afternoons perusing the selection of independent shops. You can't leave without catching a glimpse of the famous White Cliffs – luckily, they're less than half an hour on foot from your front door.
