Relaxing break in a little haven of tranquility Just back from a recent stay at The Cottages. We stayed in Honeymoon cottage and had a wonderful few days of rest and relaxation. The owner Liz gave us a warm welcome with lovely scones and information about the area. The cottage is furnished very nicely has everything you need and is impeccable. The gardens around the cottages are stunning and you are a short stroll down the path to the beach. We were blessed with fantastic weather during our visit and had such a lovely escape from everyday life for a while. We would highly recommend The Cottages and hope to return again at some stage.

"Gorgeous place and fabulous stay!" We stayed in the Little Orchard Cottage for 5 nights and had the most wonderful stay. We were welcomed by Mael who gave us plenty of good advice on the places to visit and where to go for grocery shopping. Liz, the owner, had made delicious scones with homemade jam for our arrival and put some milk in the fridge . Every room in the cottage was immaculate and the beds were very comfy. The gardens are extremely well maintained and you are just 5 minutes walking from the beach ! From the gardener to the owner and the staff, everyone was so friendly.! We were lucky to have the perfect weather but even with rain, we would have enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you again for making our stay memorable!

"A Piece of Heaven on the Irish East Coast" This is the most wonderful place on earth. It is so homely as soon as you come through the gates you are met with the most amazing views and the most genuine welcome from Mel. Life doesn't get better than warm handmade scones, a cuppa and a smile on arrival. Liz and Roger made us totally at home and you really should come to these cottages, you will make so many memories and have a smile in your heart long after you leave. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Best Holiday Stay Ever"" The Cottages in Meath are the most beautiful, picturesque location. Each cottage has a unique character, they are beautifully appointed and tastefully reconstructed to reflect their character. Coupled with this, you have all the modern amenities. They are blissfully cool in high summer heat and warm and snug at night. Gorgeous bathrooms, spacious, spotless and literally a joy to stay in. The gardens are a must see, organic flower beds coupled with trees; shade and sunny spots; full of birds to serenade you. Standing anywhere in the location you are met with beauty. Then, at the bottom of the little hamlet, you have a stunning beach, with the Mountains of Mourne and the Cooley Peninsula as your view. The owners, Liz and Roger are wonderful hosts and Mel, who is part of the team, deserves a special mention as a fabulous lady. I have been going there for years now. I personally go there to relax and rejuvenate. I am a yoga teacher, and I can tell you that there is no better location on earth to relax and restore. It's like another world that refuses to allow any of the outside world in; zero stress, healing sea and nature, quiet beauty and pampering. You are also just a bus ride from Dublin and Drogheda and I go every year to see the ancient east. It's a short drive to Newgrange, Tara, Mourne Mountains etc. Perfect place to take photographs too, or write, or paint, or just read and relax. It's got it all!! It's the only place I've ever been that I would call perfect, magical and exactly like the website. The only surprise here is that you never realised how happy and chilled you can become. Big shout out to Liz, Roger and Mel; this year they went above and beyond to make my annual trip to the 'Garden of Eden', extra special. Can't wait to go back.
