First class accommodation cant fault it at all. The attention to detail was wonderful, including on arrival, fresh cut flowers in vase, homemade cakes and scones on plate, tea, coffee, sugar, jug of cream and half dozen fresh eggs. hope to stay again.

After a long drive we arrived to a smiling face, a lovely warm cottage, delicious home made chocolate fudge cake and half a dozen free range eggs, enough tea coffee and milk to see us through. Cant speak highly enough!

This is the third time we have stayed at Shyre Stable and as ever found it spotless and comfortable. Very well equipped and quiet. The huge field is great for the dog to have a run and the summer house is a great escape! Handy location for a stroll along Bempton Cliffs and the coastal railway, only 20 minutes walk away means that you don’t need to use the car! Richard and Clare make you very welcome and there’s always home made cake, milk and half a dozen eggs waiting for you, not to mention a gravy bone for your dog! Highly recommended. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We loved the cottage and the peaceful village. The personal touches, i.e home made cake, eggs, even dog biscuits made it even more welcoming. Thank you.

The best self catering holiday accommodation we have ever used. The welcome was friendly and informative. Cake, eggs and milk on arrival. Everything we could have possibly need was included. We would recommend this to all our friends.

Very clean, warm welcome ’with goodies’ (homemade cake, milk, tea, coffee, and eggs upon arrival), all appliances in working order. The inclusion of electric and heating within the price paid.

The property was of a good standard and well-maintained. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly without being intrusive and we found it an excellent base from which to explore a beautiful part of the country.

Because the bedrooms are at either end of the property it gives that little bit of privacy for sharing couples.

The Shire Stable accommodation in Buckton was fist class and could not be faulted in any way. The owners went out of their way to welcome us, with the gas heating on for our arrival and even some home made ginger cake and some of their own free range eggs left for us to enjoy. Absolutely wonderful !!!
