Area Glasson is a tranquil village resting on the banks of a stream leading to Lough Ree's waters. The friendly village is home to two eateries, including the popular Grogan's pub, and a convenience store well-stocked with essentials. Glasson boasts ample access to the settlements surrounding Lough Ree, from Killinure to Wineport, where visitors can partake in range of watersports and activities, including sailing to small islands. The bustling town of Athlone is a short distance away and is home to ample riverside attractions for all the family.
