A short drive away from Snowdonia National Park other attractions within easy reach are Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway Museum Revolution Mountain bike park Lake Vyrnwy watersports centre and RSPB Bird Reserve where you might just see the Ospreys feeding from the lake and of course just down the road is one of The Seven Wonders of Wales the magnificent Llanrhaeadr waterfall.
