Area Bettyhill is a friendly highland village on the north coast some 13 miles from Tongue and 30 miles from Thurso, the main town serving this part of Scotland. The special attraction here is the stunning Torrisdale Bay situated to the west of Bettyhill which boasts a mile long beach of fabulous golden sands. The village has good facilities for locals and visitors such as a general store and a post office along with a museum and tourist information centre and a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi and sauna.
