Kieran’s home is outside the beautiful village of Glenbeigh, however it is on the main rd., and is very noisy with traffic going past all the time. The house is not within walking distance of the village which is a pity. The house itself is very dated, all the bedrooms are on the ground floor, as is the kitchen an dining room. The lounge is upstairs, and there are quite a few other rooms up stairs but they are all locked. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, but many lights didn’t work, and quite a few doors were really hard to open/close. The kitchen is large, but there was a really bad smell in the sink area, and the stove top was greasy and not really clean. The hot water came on for a few hours in the morning and evening, which was tricky with 11 people trying to have showers. Kieran was at all times very helpful and attentive, however I feel that a bit more attention to detail wouldn’t go astray. The house and garden bore the signs of many years of use and could really do with a good tidy up or overhaul.
