"Truly Excellent!"
This wonderful summer weather we're experiencing this year, is a great incentive for heading off to different places for the day and last Sunday we visited Mount Falcon Estate. I'd been there before but it was a first for my husband, and what an enjoyable day we had in this beautiful estate.
We also had a truly superb lunch in there tastefully furnished dining room, the service was excellent, and my husband's roast beef was up there the best he's ever tasted! Our starters were fabulous - colourful and imaginative, and my Clare Island salmon was delicious.

After lunch we went walking around the estate, to the lake, explored the lodges, found our way to the Neolithic site, marvelled at the magnificent trees and generally had a most enjoyable day. It's a truly beautiful place and one we hope to return to.

Excellent stay
Fantastic resort in lovely very well kept grounds. Travelled as a family with teenagers so stayed in a Woodland Lodge which included breakfast in the hotel every day. Great breakfast, great service, lovely way to start the day. The lodge was very spacious and far exceeded our expectations. Lovely smiling staff from housekeeping visited each day to ask if we needed anything at all. We walked the trails, cycled, swam (really lovely pool with views of the hills) visited the bar most nights, had a lovely dinner in the restaurant with extended family one evening and enjoyed the views from the hotel terrace. Didn't get to do everything but plan to return and would most certainly recommend.

"Wonderful Place!"
We went to Mount Falcon for a wedding celebration in early January. The Christmas decorations were lovely but tasteful. The food was great. We spend an afternoon after traveling all day with some time at the sauna and pool and after a nice dinner, retired to be ready to celebrate the next day. Our room was spacious - really spacious. Our bathroom was beautiful and the room temperature was perfect. I'm usually cold in Ireland but this was neither too warm or too cold. I was comfy. The furniture is clean and new but looks like period pieces! The linens and towels and robes and slippers are all premium. We felt spoiled and pampered. We had a little time in the morning and it was nice to check out the history of the building and grounds. Fishing on the Moy for those so inclined. Rooms in the hotel or courtyard lodges. Full spa treatments too. We had a few packing problems - forgot to pack the charger for the phone! Staff was very helpful and found a work-around solution for us. Really enjoyed our time there. Wish we could have had one more day. Obviously we'd recommend for a wedding. They really took good care of our bride and groom and families. But it would be great for a spa weekend or get-away weekend or a wonderful dinner night out!

Always a warm welcome we have stayed in the Hotel and lodges on many occasions all equipped and decorated to a high / clean standard. Fishing on the River Moy on Mount Falcon's own beat is my reason both my sons caught their first Atlantic Salmon here.

we stayed in one of the court yard lodges with 3 kids. This is our 3rd time to Mount falcon. We have stayed in the Woodside lodges and the Lakeside however we found the courtyard the most suitable. Strangely when we enquired they never mentioned the court yard. (friends had told us about it ). it was fantastic. house was the biggest of the 3 lodges and brilliant space for the kids to play outside. ( the lakeside has no green area for the kids to play)Also the playground nearby is a bonus
