Menai View is a superb semi-detached cottage situated on the outskirts of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll village on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles, one of which has en-suite facilities and a balcony, plus there is also a twin room and a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for four cars and a front lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue. Menai View is an ideal base for a family with the whole of Anglesey to explore, as well as parts of North Wales to visit.

Area
Known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave" and is situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge. Have your name taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, plus walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, which will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Also close by are several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Bike storage. Front lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 6 mins walk, pub 3 mins walk. Note: Reduced height on landing stairs. Note: Electric pylons within view to rear. Note: The owner occasionally stays at the property with her own dog. Note: A path from the property leads directly to the Menai Straits, children to be supervised. Note: There is an occupied apartment situated above the rear of this property.
