The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to whip up family feasts, while the quaint bedrooms have beautiful antique furniture and lovely artwork, and the twin room boasts an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Explore the surrounding area, and you'll discover several nearby pubs and an excellent restaurant within a few miles of the lodge. Why not forego the need for a designated driver and walk there for a hearty pub lunch before rambling home and kicking off your boots in the utility room, and settling in by the fire. Slightly further afield, explore Northumberland's stunning coastline and breathtaking waterside walks. Visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, twenty miles away, or Bamburgh Castle, another six miles down the coast. Alternatively, visit Berwick-upon-Tweed, England's most northerly town is a fifteen-minute drive away.
