WOW! The space was incredible and Hilary and Conor were super quick in their responses. We had three generations of family in our group of 12 and this was a great home base for our eight nights. There was plenty of space for individuals to have quiet privacy, while also allowing us to gather ALL together at one table for dinner. We had a few minor issues and Hilary responded immediately and went out of her way to fix everything to make sure we had the best vacation. She had some great recommendations for dining, etc, in the area. Bearna was a quick walk to restaurants/pubs/bakery/grocery store, and the bus stop is close to get into Galway. We also ventured out to Kylemore Abbey/Connemara, Aran Islands, Bunratty Castle, and had a fun evening at Trad on the Prom. I would absolutely book this home again!

This house is amazing! We were traveling with a big group and this house fit our family perfectly. The older kids had a great time with the outdoor activities and the projector tv room and the little kids loved the playroom. It was a perfect setup for all ages. Hilary was very responsive and so helpful to us planning our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here.

We had a great time in Barna and can’t recommend this place enough. Hilary was a wonderful host! She provided us with all information prior to arrival and was very responsive throughout our stay. All rooms in the house are extremely spacious, especially the kitchen and lounge areas. We really liked the kitchen area with lots of different equipment to prepare food for many people at once. The garden is beautiful and very well-maintained. The bus stop to leave for Galway city center is very close and it takes about 20 minutes. We can highly recommend larger groups to stay with Hilary and Conor.

Trip of a lifetime! We spent Christmas in Barna with family. Hilary went above and beyond to prepare us with every detail we needed before arrival such as the hours of local shops that would be closed for the holidays to how to operate all of the appliances. The house was absolutely stunning, very clean, and while it is massive it felt cozy and intimate at the same time. Our kids loved it. The bar area and the large kitchen table were a hit. Sea swims walking distance. Can’t wait to come back!
