Luxury South Wexford Lodge: Wexford

The lodge has been lovingly built in harmony with the adjoining Manor House. It is fitted out to the highest standard. All modern conveniences included. The lodge is tastefully decorated with some delightful features for you to see upon your arrival.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, toaster, fridge, freezer etc. It is ideally configured for dining with friends and family. It has a large dining table, comfortably seating ten people. The door leads out to a sheltered patio area that catches the evening sun. An ideal spot for eating al fresco on a summer's evening while the children play in the large garden in front of the patio. Barbeque also provided.

Upstairs you will find the main living area. A wood burning stove invites you into this cosy room with comfy three-piece suite, television and DVD. This room is filled with light. Double doors, lead onto a balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding area and gardens. A lovely spot to sit with your book or have a cup of coffee. at the other end of the room are tables and chairs. This area can be used as another dining area or games area.

The five bedrooms are fitted out with comfortable beds dressed with quality bed linen and storage facilities. Towels are also provided. A cot can be provided upon request at no extra charge. There are bathroom facilities on both floors. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. There are four double-bedrooms and one twin room. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated echoing the high standard to which this house was built.

Outside in addition to the gardens and patio area, there is a children's play area. The South Wexford Lodge is a tranquil country retreat, ideally located to explore the sunny Southeast.

Nearby Bridgetown village can cater to all your needs while you are staying at the Lodge. There is a supermarket, a craft butcher, a fish shop, a takeaway, a pharmacy, a post office, two hairdressers, a beautician, two pubs and a tea room. Homemade breads and cakes are readily available. It is a 1km walk into the village.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the lodge for a family holiday. Both Austin and Julie were excellent and gave very good advice on where to go and eat locally. We were very lucky with the weather as well which was a bonus.

" Fantastic holiday home & location is great"

Just back from a great week Luxury South Wexford Lodge. The house is lovely and has all the home comforts you need. The garden/grounds are amazing with lots of space for kids to play and explore. The local pub Mary Berry's has great food and offers a free shuttle service to and from. Lots to see and do in the area and only a short drive to Kilmore Quay. Austin the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

Had a fantastic weekend here with entire family, the lodge garden had something for everyone - from the toddlers to the teenagers. House was kitted out to a high standard, very spacious with every mod con. Thanks Austin and family!

Just left the lodge after a lovely weekend break with the family! Austin and Laura were so friendly and we had lovely homemade bread and cakes on arrival!! Perfect for kids, a lovely safe garden for them to play in with slides, football net and little cars. We had great fun

"Beautiful home, would highly recommend"

Owners extremely friendly and helpful. House was beautiful, warm, comfortable. Perfect for a few families. The only downside is the sitting room is upstairs between the bedrooms, did not bother me but other family members would have preferred the sitting room beside the kitchen.
