This house is an impressive size and style. The owners are an engineer and an artist and both are abilities are evident in the details of what they have created — a large, modern house. The house is in a small town outside Galway, with a view of Galway Bay and an easy walk to a beach and the local but fancy pub. We didn’t even bother with a car c for the first few days but then regularly headed out for the local sites: Cliffs of Moher (2 hr drive), Kylemore Abbey (1 1/2 hr), Limerick (1 hr), and often into Galway (20-25 min). Stayed for two weeks and hated to leave!

Gorgeous house. Spotlessly clean with everything & more. Conveniently located for the Connemara Coast Hotel & seafood restaurant & bar both 10 min stroll away. Joyce was wonderfully welcoming & a great keeper of secrets. she had been advised of extra guests that were coming to surprise me & had the sofa bed already made up! I would not hesitate to recommend this fabulous property.

Gorgeous home that provided us with an incredibly comfortable base for our excursions into Connemara. Joyce was an absolute gem. Went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Superbly well-stocked kitchen, fabulous pressure in the showers and comfy beds too! The hot tub was a real treat, too!
