A hidden gem in the heart of Bantry
I can't say enough about our stay at this beautiful Bantry town property. Our group of three couples arrived on a wintery dark night to find Deidre there to meet us at the door and everything set up for a luxury weekend stay inside.

The stove was lit (SO cosy!) and the living room was so comfortable we spent most of the weekend sitting around indoors playing board games.

You won't find a dining table bigger than this one (and in gorgeous handmade wood) - it's a real luxury to be able to seat as many people as you like for dinner or breakfast.

The bedrooms are to die for (ours was the Regency room) and we made use of the huge bath to warm up after a walk on the beach.

The restaurants fill up fast so make sure you make a reservation if you're not cooking in the lovely kitchen. And don't miss Ma Murphy's and The Anchor for a pint!

We're already planning a return visit.

Fantastic place. It's just as good as it looks in the ad. Location is second to none, right in the centre of town. Host was lovely and we really appreciated the little touches like slippers for guests and fresh scones on arrival. Would highly recommend.

"Ideal family lodgings right in the area we wanted to be in"

This property was just gorgeous! It was so comfortable, relaxing and beautiful, we really hated to leave! Every need was anticipated and there were so many lovely extras that we weren't even expecting. Our family group of 14, ranging in ages from 16-64, all loved the large dining room/living room open space for gathering. The modern kitchen was perfect for our big dinner prep. Having the bedrooms & baths on various levels was very convenient and allowed for some privacy. The town of Bantry is charming, and everything we needed was right there--groceries, pubs, restaurants, parking, pharmacy, etc. We only had to walk a block to the bay. While staying here, we drove one day to the Ring of Kerry & Killarney, another day to Blarney Castle & Kinsale, and one day to Cork. It's close to the big tourist attractions, but far enough away to still be a small, quaint & quiet town to retreat to at the end of a long day. Our teens loved that they could watch Netflix, the adults loved the fresh scones & apple pie Deirdre left for us, and we were all grateful that there was a dedicated laundry room with a washer AND a dryer! Very rare in Europe! Everything was exceptionally clean and stylish. The beds were super-comfy with beautiful linens. Don't miss this experience!!

"This is an excellent property for several people"
The location in Bantry is great, with large windows overlooking Wolfe Tone Square and access to several pubs within 2 blocks. The living room area is quite large and very comfortable with a dining room table that will easily fit 10 people. Management
was easy to deal with and there was no hesitation on their part to help make our stay enjoyable.

"Outstanding luxury accommodation"
In the very heart of Bantry town. Fabulous views over the square and the clock ringing out every hour! Open plan kitchen with an aray of food left for us to enjoy. Dining table is a wonderful piece of art. Wonderful bedrooms with top quality bedding you wouldn't want to leave!! Perfect for a large family get together or group of friends for a superb holiday in West Cork. Will definately be back Nothing compares to this place.

A brilliant house in a great location for exploring all that Bantry and the surrounding areas have to offer. Deirdre was a brilliant host and the house had everything you could need for your stay. I would highly recommend the property and would certainly stay here again.
