Loughdale Cottage was originally built by Lord Kenmare in 1860 and was converted to a dwelling house in 1862. There have now been seven generations of the Buckley family that has passed through the cottage, and it still remains a working farm.

You will enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in the comfortable, modern and tastefully decorated bedrooms & can relax in the beautiful garden & grounds of the farm offering private walks to the lake, and an outdoor room where guests can practice yoga / meditation-looking out to the beautiful Mangerton Mountains.

The Cottage is 7mins drive from the foot of Mangerton Mountain & a 15min drive from the beautiful town of Killarney. Situated in the heart of Kerry, the property is only 30mins from Kerry International Airport, 14mins from Killarney Train Station, 12 mins from the world-famous Killarney National Park, 15mins from the beautiful Killarney town, 50 mins from Inch Beach and 60min from the famous fishing town of Dingle.

This luxury farmhouse has been finished to the highest standards comprising a very spacious kitchen, living and dining room with a glass door which opens out onto a patio area for dining alfresco looking out onto Mountain Views. The fully equipped kitchen is a real paradise for those who love to cook.

There are three bedrooms comprising one double bed upstairs, ground floor bedroom 2 - king bed, and bedroom 3 comprises a spacious loft style room with high ceilings offering king-size beds. The property has a spacious bathroom on the ground floor with a full shower and also a WC on the ground floor. The property comes with luxury bed linen & towels.
