Lakeside Cottage is a ground floor cottage which can be found in Cranham, Gloucestershire, and perched on a hillside overlooking the countryside with lakes below. It was built with local Cotswold stone and has been carefully renovated by current owners, who have crated and maintained the property with added extras such as a log burner which adds to the cosy appeal of the property. It opens up to a living room with a wood burning stove, with an open-plan fitted kitchen and a dining area. It has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with an en suite shower room and WC. There is a decking area with furniture overlooking a magnificent view of the surrounding lake and hillside. Off road parking is available. Lakeside Cottage is ideal for those with limited mobility.

This ground floor cottage can be found in Cranham, Gloucestershire. It is a short drive to Brockworth, which is famed for the annual Cheese-Rolling event that takes place on Cooper’s Hill. Nearby Gloucester showcases a number of examples of stunning architecture, most of all its enchanting cathedral. You can also find museums and monuments teaching of the area’s history. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs in the city, and for the more scenic activities, the Cotswolds has areas for walking and cycling through footpaths and charming villages. Brockworth is also home to famous English writer Laurie Lee’s favourite pub The Woolpack.

Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
