Lovely spot right on the edge of a stunning lake. Spent 5 days here and hope to return next summer. 10/10!

Great house and host
So beautiful! House is exactly as advertised. Loved every minute in the house and visiting the Ring of Kerry towns. Jens and Michelle were very accommodating and helpful both before and during our stay. Thank you for some wonderful memories!

Loved our stay
Our family of 11 had an absolutely wonderful time at the lake house. The group included adults and teenagers and there was plenty of space for all. The patio and it’s view over the lake were fabulous. The house is very comfortable and Jens and Michelle were gracious hosts who were most helpful. And grocery deliveries from the Eurostar in Killorglin were so convenient.

Swan family holiday
We had a great time at Caragh Lake house. The house was lovely and in a perfect location We tried out lots of the recommendations on the website for things to do and places to eat nearby and found them really good especially the local walks. Jens and Michelle were readily available should we have needed them but it shows how good the house was, that we never had to. All in all a wonderful family holiday in a house which had everything

"Ideal family vacation" Wow! Our stay surpassed our expectations. I wanted a house in Ireland to celebrate my father-in-law's 75th birthday. We had 3 families and this house fit us all comfortably. The decor and style were designed with care and taste. The views of the lake and summer sun were majestic. We even got out onto the lake in the kayaks (be careful when windy). The location is ideal—close to several outstanding golf courses; quiet, serene setting overlooking the lake; less than 10 minutes to town; and it’s well situated for day trips to so many places. The town of Killorglin maintains the charm and sense of community of an Irish town but also has a very nice choice of restaurants. Our favorite was Giovannelli (Michelin recipient). Our family travels quite often (my wife is a travel writer) and we see and experience many places. Jens’ Caragh Lake House is one of our absolute favorites. It helped make a family celebration special—one that will not be soon forgotten.
