Moliets-et-Maa has a romance to it. There's a real rustic, unpretentious feel to this seaside town. With everything you need within walking distance, you'll enjoy a laidback, easy holiday. Whether you're with a group of friends or family, there's really something for everyone here. Guests love to hear the waves crashing and the authenticity of being around nature, with deer and wild boar playing a stone's throw away.
The large, glistening pool is the perfect place to relax during the day, surrounded by the swaying forest. The interior is bright, with large windows that sweep light through to the high ceilings. If you want to break up your stay with some activities, there's plenty to do. Thrill-seekers will love the Adrenaline Parc, just an eighteen-minute walk away from home. There, you'll find zip lines taking you through the forest, a treetop rope course, quad bikes, and paintballing. There's enough there to stretch it over a week's holiday!
For a more slow-paced, laid back day, take a swing at the local golf course. It's just down the road, only ten minutes by foot. The views of the sapphire sea might distract your aim, though. The beach stretches down Moliets-at-Maa, but we recommend visiting Plage de Moliets in particular, just a twenty-six-minute walk away. It's a thin stretch of sand where beachgoers can surf, bodyboard, or just relax on the super-soft sand.
Come dinnertime, you're bound to be hungry after an activity-filled day, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Including La Cagette, which is twenty-one minutes by foot or five by car. Moliets is famed for its fresh oysters, and seafood in general, so we highly recommend going for that. Or, head to the Spar Supermarche to pick up some ingredients and rustle up something in your kitchen. The Spar is twenty-two minutes by foot, or if you anticipate carrying bags back might be a challenge, you can hop in a car for just four minutes.
