Killygarvan Cottage: Donegal

This lovely cottage is situated about 1km from Rathmullan village and is only a 5 min. walk from the marvellous Kinnegar beach.
Built to the highest specifications the cottage is one of a small number on a quiet rural site overlooking the waters of Lough Swilly.
Portsalon Golf Club is a 15 minute drive to the north while the village of Rathmullan ,with it's small shops, pubs and restaurants is only a short distance away.

4 bedroom modern cottage – (1 bedroom with bunk beds for children)
Sleeps 6 adults + 2 children
Small private site of 8 cottages.
Short walk to Kinnegar beach.
Spacious open plan lounge with high ceiling, wooden floors, old brick/sleeper fireplace with large wood/coal burning stove.

Thanks for such a great base for a great holiday. This is our 10th year holidaying in Rathmullan but our first stay here and it didn't disappoint! Weather has been kind to us on the whole and we've had some great days enjoying the sun, sea and sand both here and at the kid's favourite Ballymastocker Bay. We thought the horse riding was really good and worth a try. Hope to see it all again next year.

Just back from a 5 night stay in the cottage with my wife, 2 kids and the dog. The cottage was lovely, with everything needed for a small family. Very well presented, probably the nicest accommodation we’ve ever stayed in in Rathmullan so I would highly recommend it. The owner Phil lives above and was very helpful to us, but not intrusive in any way, in fact she made the stay better!
Just a 5 minute walk into the town. Will definitely return.
