Here, white-washed houses, steep, winding lanes and traditional blue-domed churches remain untouched by time – and, surprisingly, tourists, who tend to favour the livelier areas of Fira and Kamari. The result is a relaxed, charming and laid-back village, where wine bars and art galleries sit beside local tavernas and independent boutiques. If it's the sea you crave, it's just a ten-minute drive to Kamari Beach, where waves crash on the soft black sand.

Back at home, there's no better spot to relax than on the terrace, drinking in the panoramas of the Aegean Sea and Anafi. Spend lazy afternoons floating in the whirlpool infinity pool, then dry off in the sun on one of the cushy blue chairs. In the evenings, fire up the barbecue, pour yourself a glass of wine and watch as the sun dips below the horizon on the balcony, painting the sky shades of pink and purple.

Inside, classic Greek design meets contemporary style, creating a serene, minimalist space to relax. We love the wooden accents and natural elements – be it a table made from knotted branches in the living area or the driftwood-style art piece in the bedroom – but there are little luxuries, too. From fluffy bathrobes and rainfall showers to gaming systems and two glossy, well-equipped kitchens, this villa truly has it all.
