House in North Cornwall: Cornwall

Conveniently located in the centre of St Stephens and walking distance to the shop, pubs, and an 18 hole golf course. Launceston itself is known as being the ancient capital of Cornwall and offers a range of shops and pubs as well as a castle. Jump in the car and head to The Hidden Valley for a great puzzle solving day out, just 6 miles away. Perfectly placed close to the Devon/Cornwall border and within a short drive of the A30, it provides a convenient location to explore both counties and the coastline. Try a zip wire or hire some bikes from the Tamar Trails Centre. Other places certainly worth a visit from here include the pretty villages of Boscastle, Tintagel, and Port Isaac, all within 18 miles. Step inside this stunning period property, steeped in character and charm yet with stylish comforts throughout. From the purple front door, head into the gorgeous dining room with solid slate floorings, high ceilings, and window shutters, you certainly will not be disappointed. Enjoy a special feast at the dining table with the Bluetooth radio playing in the background. Head through to the beautiful kitchen equipped with everything you ll need including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and under counter fridge plus Smeg bean to cup coffee machine. From here the utility room has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and WC. From the dining room, you will find the cosy lounge with sofas and seating located around the wood burner and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV or get competitive on the Xbox, with two controllers and games provided. Stairs lead up to all bedrooms including a double and super king zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with views across to the church, a bunk bedroom perfect for children, and at the rear is another double bedroom with an en suite shower room with rainfall shower and WC. Lastly inside but by no means least is the superb family bathroom with a free standing roll top bath, separate rainfall shower, and WC. Heading outside, the property comes to life with a terrace to dine alfresco with a BBQ on the go. Steps lead up to another seating terrace, ideal for morning coffee and then a generous lawn area with mature shrubs, plants, and a meandering pathway leading to a choice of seating and sun loungers, fire pit, and hot tub to unwind in whilst the children play in the garden. There is driveway parking for one car and additional parking on street (subject to availability).
