Located in the hamlet of Pinchinthorpe – right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park – this welcoming cottage offers breathtaking landscapes on its doorstep, as well as a comfortable base to call home.

Snuggle up on the living room’s sofas with a mug of tea and a good book while the fireplace casts its warm glow, or open up the double doors here to let the breeze flow through on balmy days. Step through the doors and onto the patio to enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air – you may even spot the alpacas roaming in the neighbouring field – or fire up the barbecue for an alfresco feast.

The kitchen beckons hearty homecooked meals to be enjoyed around its sociable breakfast bar, while the two bedrooms – elegantly pared-back – promise a dreamy night’s sleep in their cosy beds.

When it comes to exploring the local area, drive five minutes to visit the market town of Guisborough where you’ll find charming shops, local pubs and the 12th-century Gisborough Priory, or choose one of the many walking trails fanning out around you into the North York Moors. The Guisborough Branch Walkaway is less than a five-minute stroll from your door where you’ll find a trio of hiking trails, a cycling track, orienteering and a play area, and should you fancy a day by the sea, Saltburn-by-the-Sea is just a fifteen-minute drive away.
