Room Features
This charming, cosy 19th-century stone farmhouse was lovingly renovated in 1987 with the purpose of preserving the building’s original character. A comfortable living room with TV, stereo, and books is the perfect place for the family to relax.

The Farm
You will see a variety of animals on the farm. A family of goats, a pot bellied pig, a flock of white geese, and a Kerry cow are all part of the farm experience. Several friendly border collies that George Kelly has bred live on the farm and adore all of their human visitors.

Among the destinations nearby worth visiting are Moll's Gap, scenic viewing points, and the town of Killarney. Killarney offers excellent dining, shopping, bicycle rentals, and horse-drawn carriage rides to Muckross House.

A variety of nearby activities await, whether you prefer Irish music, pubs, golfing, sailing, windsurfing, shooting, horse riding, hill walking, climbing, diving or fishing.

There are also many activities available on and around the farm. Pony rides and fishing are popular activities for quiet days on the farm. Ballymalis Castle, an historic landmark, is just a short quiet walk from the farm. Once there, you may wish to explore the scenic banks of the River Laune.

Had a great few hours with George and the animals on the tour, and the mini diggers were the ultimate hit with the kids!

It was well equipped although there was a sattelite receiver in living room which didnt work and none of the remote controls worked either (dead batteries i think) but this not a major issue for us at all. Overall we had a pleasant experience.

A typical farmhouse holiday, would recommend to anyone interested in wildlife, fishing or sightseeing. The host George is a lovely man full of information about the area. I had the pleasure of seeing a whitetail eagle, kingfishers, salmon and wild duck on the river adjoining the farm, kids loved it too especially the company of Georges two dogs.
