Grange Cottage is a luxury stone built cottage located in the centre of Alnmouth. It has been renovated to a very high standard, is stylishly decorated and furnished with modern quality fixtures and fittings. The cottage has an electric Aga, feature log fire and gas central heating making it an ideal year round base especially suited for couples wanting their own bathrooms and space. There is also a pretty enclosed garden and private parking. GROUND FLOOR Living room with TV/DVD, log burner, DAB radio, iPod dock, internet radio. Kitchen/breakfast room with Aga cooker, dishwasher, larder fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, freezer, microwave, washer/dryer. Bedroom 1 with king size bed, TV, en suite shower, WC and basin. Area
Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
