Superbly situated on the Galway-Clare border, this is the perfect location for touring the Galway and Clare coasts. Previously owned by Lady Gregory, our extraordinary villa escape offers a peaceful sojourn along the world-famous Burren coastline on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is doubtful that any short stretch of the Irish coast is so rich in literary associations. Nestled among the rare trees and bushes in lush gardens, the Monterey Cypress trees in the walled garden are thought to have been a gift from President George Washington.
While steeped in history, the cottage has all the modern smart luxuries and comfort you would expect from a 5-star property.
Location Located on the west coast of Ireland, the Burren & Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark has an area of 530 km2, it is bounded by Atlantic coastal cliffs (10-200 m high) to the west, the Gort lowlands to the East and by low hilly terrain to the south.

The house is simply beautiful and spacious, easily able to accommodate my large family and respective partners. It has everything needed, so you don’t feel like you are missing anything from home.

A beautiful place to stay, a warm welcome from Brenda, who was most helpful. We arrived to a fire burning, warm and homely. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, the decor was inviting and the large kitchen, dining room and living rooms certainly catered all 9 of our party. Views and walks were lovely, friendly faces in passing. Cannot recommend this enough.

The property is amazing, the pictures don’t do the home or surrounding area justice. On top of that, there were so many thoughtful touches throughout.
