Garrenbaun Lake View: Galway

A modern self-catering home in a peaceful location with spectacular views

This is a designer home in a quiet rural area with spectacular views over Garrenbaun Lake and the Twelve Pins mountain range in the distance. There is a large patio at the back of the house, and steps leading up to the top of the landscaped garden to a seated pinic area offering the ideal sea and mountain viewing spot.

The house also has a large sun room providing additional space for seating and relaxation. There is a also living room with a fireplace and views over the lake. The kitchen/dining room combines modernity with the traditional and has a Waterford Stanley range and all the latest equipment and most importantly a large table to sit and eat and enjoy. There is also a utility room and toilet off the kitchen.

There are three bedrooms, the master bedroom is en suite and there is another large bathroom. The house is a short drive/walk from Ross beach and a short drive away from Clifden, Cleggan and from Letterfraack and the Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.

"Fabulous"

Fabulous stay, property was better than expected and had everything we required, will use this again, top marks. the owner Tom) was so helpful. look forward to our next trip. would highly recommend.

"Such beautiful and welcoming place!" Better than a four stars hotel (2 bathrooms – more than comfortable kitchen (so well equipped) with its lake view, fireplace in the cosy living-room…) since we felt at home! Everybody in our party liked it. We are 5 people including two teenagers (16 years old & 14 years old) and a child (6 years old). Everything was just perfect! Thank you Tom and Ellen for your warm welcome! We also fallen in love with Connemara. Just one regret: too short stay!

"Extremely comfortable, perfectly positioned, home from home."

This is a very spacious, well presented home.

There are stunning views of the lake from the large kitchen and panoramic views of the surrounding mountainous countryside from the raised back garden.

The house is very well equipped, has everything you could need and was spotlessly clean.

Our dog had to stay in the tiled areas of the house, but this was not a problem as they are large and she was so tired from all the walking, she was happy to flop outside the sitting room door of an evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the house perfectly positioned to explore the area.

Tom, the owner was very helpful and always on hand to answer our queries from the first enquiry until the end of our stay.

We would certainly recommend it.
