It's situated in the gated Palmetto Dunes, an oceanfront resort bursting with outdoor activities, including tennis, surf lessons and kayaking in the saltwater lagoon. For a more relaxed pace, there's fishing and three on-site golf courses to choose from. The beach is just a seven-minute stroll away — grab a towel, pack a picnic and spend the day with the sand between your toes. When you need a break from the sun, there's plenty of room inside to sprawl out. The large windows let in heaps of natural light and the vaulted ceilings create even more space. In the evenings, you can prepare your catch of the day in the open-plan kitchen and dine at the table in front of the double-sided fireplace. If you don't feel like cooking, drive for ten minutes to the beachside restaurants, bars, and grills in the resort, or head to nearby Shelter Cove Marina for even more choice.
