Eden Lodge is a spacious detached Edwardian property in the small village of Bardsea a few miles from Ulverston. The property has thirteen bedrooms offering a variety of sleeping arrangements, most of which have en-suite facilities. Two of the bedrooms are on the second floor, along with a shower room, kitchen and sitting area, offering a more private space within this lovely property. The main living area consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room set within a sunny conservatory, and a spacious sitting room with woodburner. Outside is a barrel sauna, a patio with hot tub, and mature grounds plus ample off road parking. Eden Lodge offers a very special opportunity for a group of family or friends to spend time together and enjoy this lovely part of Cumbria, with its coastline, market towns and proximity to the beautiful Lake District National Park.

Area
Positioned on a hill overlooking Morecambe Bay is the small village of Bardsea. This remote settlement grew from a small fishing village and farming area to become a major transportation link for coal, iron ore and corn. Today, Bardsea still retains its fishing heritage, and features two pubs, both of which serve fine ales and good food. The village itself is located close to Furness Abbey, whilst the market town of Ulverston is just two miles away, and maintains its street market tradition, hosting one every Thursday and Saturday throughout the year. Ulverston is also the location for many festivals including an amazing lantern procession in November and a Dickensian weekend in early December. With all the attractions of the Lake District National Park within easy driving distance, and the sandy beaches of the Furness coast close by, this peaceful spot has plenty to offer.

Charging of electric vehicles (including bikes) is not permitted at this property, if electric charging is detected a charge of £100 will be deducted from the bond. Note: Check-in 4pm. This property has a £500 Good housekeeping bond. Please note: There is an 11pm curfew at the property - please can we observe these hours of rest and minimalise the noise - guests who are in breach of the above rules, will be asked to leave the property.
