While you'll still find your fair share of exposed oak beams, brick hearths and even a Rayburn in this sympathetically restored home, it's unmistakably modern in its outlook. Your host Lisa has thought of everything, so you can expect a welcome bottle in the fridge and fresh flowers throughout to soften the realisation of how much washing you're going to have to do if you let the kids loose in the mud kitchen out in the secure garden. In addition, there's also a football goal, badminton net and tipi out here, plus those roaming chickens to provide you with fresh eggs each the morning. If you can bear to leave your rural idyll, you're within a twenty-five-minute drive of the charming seaside town of Deal, Sandwich's Championship golf course and the historic city of Canterbury.
