Just returned from a two week stay in Ballymac. Beautiful house, all mod cons and spotlessly clean in a very secure gated community. Bed linen was crisp white clean. Appliances were all brand new. The kids could go out and play at the little playground at end of the road or kick a ball in the field. Lots of kids about so they were all well entertained and loved the freedom they wouldn't have in Dublin. Location wise was very convenient - lots of lovely beaches within minutes drive. Handiest is morriscastle also worth a visit is Curracloe beach. There is a nature reserve beside curracloe which had a track through the woods. We hired bikes from Wexford bikes and cycled about 4k to the most spectacular secluded beach. Amazing is all I can say. Ravens wood is the spot I believe. We stayed at number 8 which we would definitely ask for again. John, the owner, was very helpful and responded promptly to any question we had via text or in person.

“Beautiful house, beautiful location” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 4 weeks ago via mobile Just back from a great week in one of these beautiful holiday homes. The house was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and really well kept. Everything from the fully equipped kitchen to the furniture, bed linen etc. was really high quality. We were a party of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) and had lots of space. Very secure and safe for the kids and between the private back garden, on-site donkeys and playground, there was lots to keep them entertained. The location too was great, just a 5 minute drive to kilmuckridge village with plenty of shops, pubs etc. and 5 minutes to the beautiful beach with clear water and white sand dunes - we will definitely be back! Many thanks to John and the family for making our stay so enjoyable!
