Another amazing week at Delphi. Delphi has it all! Great food, great Craic, and, if you're not a fisherman, great weather! This really is the most wonderful setting! The Lodge is beautifully furnished, and so comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious full stop, but Virginie's scones are heavenly! The best ever!! The Boathouse Cottages are cozy and comfortable. All in all, I can't recommend Delphi highly enough!

Magical setting in legendary fishing lodge The drive through the valley from Gallway is perhaps one of the most stunning drives ever - especially if the weather is kind. Beautiful old fishing lodge, on edge of lake, great country house experience - and upgraded to beautiful room at front of hotel, where Prince Charles purportedly stayed some years back. Dinner is taken by all guests together around one large table, helping to further create the private country house atmosphere. The oysters as appetizers, perhaps some of the best ever tasted, and the rest of the meal, simple and very tasty, following by chocolates, and after dinner drinks around the open fire. Only sad had not realized how magical the place is, and not booked for longer.

Amazing stay! I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we were staying here. The property is fantastic and the people at the lodge are the best! Dinner each night was delicious, great food and drink selection. Maura who works there is so sweet and so accommodating. Everything about this place is magical

Lovely Stay I recently brought a small group of women to the Delhi Lodge while traveling around Ireland. I would highly recommend this establishment for charm, history, location and an overall lovely experience. I will return!

"Wow! Great place to stay! Our highest recommendation" We arrived in the middle of a cold rain/wind storm (hey! it is Ireland), but it was all "sunshine" once we stepped inside. What a really great place! Mary, the hostess, greeted us at the front door, helped us with luggage, got us to our rooms to change out of our wet clothes, and then had tea and biscuits waiting for us by a warm fire. Next morning we arose to a lovely day, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains in the secluded glacial valley, and an exceptional breakfast! The scones that Chef Virginie served were the best I ever tasted, and might be the best in the world. Excellent food for all meals, and Natalia the waitress provided very attentive/excellent service. The room we stayed in was very comfy and the bed provided an excellent night's sleep. A really great place to stay!! If you are a fisherman, Salmon fishing here is excellent, and I had some with my eggs for breakfast! My wife and I would definitely go back for a longer stay when we next get to Ireland. One note of caution - on the same road is the Delphi Resort/Spa. I have no idea what that place is like, but it is not the Lodge!
