Area Malton is a market town with interesting buildings, a weekly market and a wide range of amenities. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it ideal for walkers and cyclists. A trip further afield can take you to the coast with Scarborough to the east and York to the south west.
Region The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
