Cottage in Cumbria: Cumbria

This superb cottage is ideally located on the elevated part of Grange over Sands and provides an excellent base to explore the abundance of activities in the South Lakes. For easily accessible day trips there is the scenic south Cumbrian coastline, head up into the Lake District National Park with excellent cycling and walking routes, enjoy a lazy day on a boat on Lake Windermere or explore the Beatrix Potter s attractions nearby. And if all this sounds too exhausting, a day relaxing at the property, watching the world go by is never wasted time. Upon entering the property, the hallway with plenty of space for coats and boots leads through to the impressive lounge/diner with some retained original features and new sash windows. Cosy up in front of the wood burner on the sumptuous sofa, providing a comfortable place to relax and catch up with friends and family around the Smart TV. This lovely area also has a dining table with seating for everyone. The stylish kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge/ freezer, everything required for holiday dining and to help with the cleaning after, a handy dishwasher. The cottage has two well designed bedrooms, one double and one single. Finishing the accommodation is the bathroom with wet room style shower, roll top bath and WC. Opening the kitchen doors to the back garden, guests can enjoy the enclosed yard with garden furniture, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. There is roadside parking outside the property for 2 cars, subject to availability.
