For easily accessible day trips there is the scenic south Cumbrian coastline, head up into the Lake District National Park with excellent cycling and walking routes, enjoy a lazy day on a boat on Lake Windermere or explore the Beatrix Potter s attractions nearby. And if all this sounds too exhausting, a day relaxing at the property, watching the world go by is never wasted time.
