Despite its seclusion, the cottage is not far from popular Bassenthwaite Lake and its nesting ospreys, as well as the Orient Express train at Bassenthwaite Lake Station, and the local gin distillery. Animal loving families will have great fun at the Lake District Wildlife Park, just down the road. Keswick is a short, scenic drive away and has a lovely high street with shops, restaurants, and museums, as well as a wealth of outdoor activities. The cottage is approximately a mile from the nearest pub in Ireby. Sympathetically renovated, this charming property boasts comfort and character throughout.
