The village pub is within 0.1 miles from the cottage, it is a traditional Lake District Inn and a pub with Jennings cask ales brewed locally in Cockermouth, proper home made food, and a great beer garden. As you walk through the front door, you will find yourself in the hallway where there is storage for coats and shoes. Off to the right from the hallway, you will find the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. It has been thoughtfully renovated throughout with original quirky features whilst having a luxurious, contemporary feel. The slate floor is heated throughout on the ground floor, offering a warm and welcoming space to catch up with friends and family.
