Patterdale is just a mile from the bustling village of Glenridding at the foot of the Kirkstone Pass and is a fantastic starting point for a range of great walks, with local destinations including St Sunday Crag, Dove Crag, Brothers Water and Lanty s Tarn (all within 5 miles). The magnificent lake of Ullswater is less than a mile to the north, providing a fantastic destination for a lakeside picnic, boat hire or for taking a cruise on a steamer. Attractions close to Ullswater include the Aira Force Waterfall (4 miles), Place Fell (0.5 miles) and Dunmallard Hill (9 miles). Heading to the eastern edge of the Lake District you can visit Dalemain Mansion (11 miles) and Lowther Castle (14 miles). Stepping into this bright and spacious cottage, the welcoming entrance hallway leads you through to the pretty lounge. An ideal space to unwind in, the lounge has comfortable seating, TV and a wood burner, making this a wonderful room for snuggling up and enjoying a favourite movie. Exploring further, the ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen which is a pleasure to cook in and is kitted out with a sociable central island unit, a double electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher. Please note that, due to the age of the property, there are a few internal steps in the ground floor. Two staircases lead up to the first floor: one in the main hallway and one from the kitchen which takes you up to the dining room.
