Everything was excellent.. There was a warm welcome package and even goodies for our wee dog. Owners were extremely friendly. The cottage is well-situated in the centre of Stanhope, with easy access to Blanchland, Edmundyers, and Durham. The Weardale moors are exceptional and worth their protected status. We had a lovely week and the Cosy Cottage is highly recommended. Hope to return soon.
