CLIFF River Lodge

Situated on the banks of the salmon-rich River Blackwater, the
historic CLIFF River Lodge is a lovingly restored former British garrison
dating back over 150 years. Presenting a breathtaking fusion of modern luxury
and rustic charm, this meticulously renovated guest house now invites you to
immerse yourself in the tranquillity of Ballyduff’s lush pathways. Guests enjoy
access to a private fishing beat, ideal for a day of angling excursions on the
River Blackwater.

Cliff River Lodge is a sanctuary of style and comfort, where
refined interiors meet breathtaking landscapes. Upstairs, four elegantly
designed bedrooms offer serene retreats, with dual-aspect windows framing
sweeping views of the rolling countryside and the River Blackwater. Two
spacious en-suite king-sized rooms grace the first floor. The second-floor
houses two additional rooms with equally stunning vistas and ensuite bathrooms
with rainfall showers carved out of the turrets.

Downstairs, the house comprises a cosy kitchen, perfect for
relaxed dining, complemented by a breakfast bar for morning coffee and a wet
bar for mixing cocktails and fine wines. Right across is a bespoke vanity room,
fashioned out of the former Garda Station’s prison cell, featuring four
rainfall showers and products from the luxurious Well at CLIFF range.

Beyond its interiors, the lodge embraces outdoor living,
particularly in the summer months. A charming outdoor kitchen serves as an
inviting space for sizzling barbecues. The crown jewel of the property — a
secluded outdoor hot tub — provides the perfect spot to soak in the surrounding
natural beauty.
