Lovely view from the house. Well equipped kitchen and spacious open plan area. Lovely to have wood burning stove for the chilly evenings. We would definitely stay there again. Well located for visiting lovely towns like Skibereen, Schull, Glengariff.

Due to a misunderstanding involving our booking, it turned out that our party only stayed at Carbury House 1 for one night. The property is absolutely charming, well-appointed, and beautifully situated with uninterrupted views overlooking the sheep's head peninsula. It is easily spacious enough for large family groups.
Unfortunately, the property was not quite right for us. Eileen the property manager was extremely responsive to our needs and offered to move us to a nearby property (Ballyvonane House), which we accepted. This is a stunning property, fitted to a high spec, suitable for a party much larger than our seven, again fabulous views.
The location (of both properties) delivered all the quiet and seclusion we craved, and dark night skies, perfect for star-gazing, whilst also being close to a host of good restaurants - Blair's Cove and O'Connors are a must!
We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
