Upon entry, the terracotta-hued walls, green shutters and juniper roofing paints the perfect picture of authentic and unhurried Greek island living. On the ground floor, there's an open-plan living space with whitewashed walls, floor tiling and modern homespun furniture, creating a calm and comfortable area to relax in. Natural light floods in through the patio doors, while the rustic wood-burning stove keeps things warm and cosy.

You'll find four en-suite bedrooms across multiple floors, each with direct access to a sea-facing balcony or patio area. Watch the sunset with a drink in hand as you look forward to an alfresco feast together on the covered terrace that easily seats the entire group and benefits from a brick-built barbecue. Cool off from a day of tanning on the sun loungers with a dip in your private pool, before getting ready for a night in town.

Head out to explore and in addition to the nearest beach (3km away), the charming little village of Lakithra, where traditional churches, delicious tavernas and small colourful pathways await, is easily reachable in five minutes on foot. Further afield, Kefalonia's capital of Argostoli is just a ten-minute drive in your rental car.
