"Perfect hideaway"
Magnificent setting, Cabra castle ticks all the boxes, stayed in a lodge away from main castle and not disappointed, good size room, clean, in a secluded spot facing the woods. Drinks and food in the bar , food menu limited but good quality and good value for money. Service EXCELLENT from front reception to the bar. Breakfast good selection and fantastic setting. If you fancy a break from the madness check...

"Absolutely Fabulous"
Booked 1 night for myself and my partner for his birthday. We stayed in the lodges. So beautiful and cozy ! Also there was a box of chocolates and a birthday greeting on the dresser ! We loved the interior and set up of the room. When we arrived we were greeted by Emma in reception, she was so welcoming and attentive. Felt just like home. We ate dinner in the bar and the food was fantastic! Breakfast was very tasty and a great selection of cereals, juices, yogurts etc. We were both stuffed. Went for a walk then around the grounds and we were greeted by a beautiful Irish Wolf Hound! Very friendly ! All in all - thank you so much for the wonderful stay and we will be back !!

"Stunning"
One of the best places the wife and I have ever stayed. Let's start with the drive up to the hotel. It's like something from a movie. Then you see the castle an it's got the wow factor. The grounds are spotless an breathtaking. Check in was quick an we were given all the info we needed. We were staying in one of the lodges about 200 metres away from the hotel, they are very nice an the room we got was big enough an clean. Nothing to fault it on really. An just walking around the grounds made me smile. It was actually nice walking from the lodge to the castle. We started with a few drinks outside on the new patio area, with some lunch, taking in the warm weather. Lunch was tasty an service was outstanding, very courteous an polite. We even had a visit from the resident Irish wolfhound, Oscar. The hotel was setting up for a wedding an the area where this was held was so so nice. Lucky couple.
Later in the evening we have a few drinks in the bar area of the hotel. There are loads of rooms an hidden areas around to sit an relax. It's a joy just adventuring around the castle just finding hidden gems to marvel at. You will keep saying "wow look at this". Brilliant. An special thanks to Emma on reception for being so kind an helpful. I could talk to her for hours. She is certainly one of the stars of the place.
Breakfast in the morning was of a high standard with the staff helping anyway they can. You order what you want from the breakfast menu. I had the full Irish the first day an French toast with crispy bacon the second. It's just so nice having breakfast in such a lavish room with views of the grounds. This place an the staff in it made us feel special and I think that's the point of a hotel like this. Quality. Thanks
