Cool off from the midday sun with a dip in the pool, while away sunny hours in the hammock, then pick some fruit from the orchard for the freshest of lunchtime feasts. When you’re not luxuriating in your own private oasis, drive 10 minutes to Marta, a medieval village on Lake Bolsena’s sparkling southern shore. After a day of exploring and relaxing in the garden, gather for sunset cocktails on the porch’s plump chairs before sitting down to a barbecue dinner beneath the pergola’s pair of chandeliers.
