Blue Velvet is a fabulous two-level apartment at the top of a historic building in the buzzy East Village/Union Square. We love the open-plan kitchen and living space, gorgeous brick walls, numerous fireplaces, including an outdoor one on the killer wrap-around roof terrace. But perhaps our favourite part about this Penthouse are the two huge terraces where you can watch the day pass by on the streets below.
Home truths: The photos are a bit outdated – the home had suffered some water damage before the photo shoot so some of the furniture and artwork was removed which makes some of the rooms feel a tad empty. The leaks have been fixed, and now the home is fully furnished
