Probably the best value stay I can remember
I stayed at this property of few days ago. I was travelling alone so the cost was only £45 including breakfast. I booked it because I was travelling a lot of miles that day and had to be in the area of the hotel the next day. I thought at £45 including breakfast, it would be ideal, as all I would do when I got there was sleep, wake, have breakfast and go. My expectation of the hotel was not high, but how wrong I was, this is probably the best value accommodation I have stayed in in the last 12 months.
The room was large, clean and tidy, the decoration was fresh. There was a desk to work at, the bathroom was modern and clean with a bath/shower.
I was late to the hotel so the owner had the room ready, I noticed in reception that on the desk there was a basket with batteries in for the TV remote control (a small thing but it shows the hotel could not do enough to make sure all was correct in the rooms).
I woke showered and had a very nice breakfast and the staff at breakfast were very polite and accommodating.
I didn't have time to spend time around the property but there were nice gardens outside.
All in all this is a great place to stay at and it will certainly be on my list of 'must stays' should I be in the area again.
